We had a special contest called the David vs. Goliath competition, which was La Nova vs. Giangel's Cafe.  This was a contest created because the two pizzerias had come up with the same "Unique Creation".  They both had made the Pot Roast Pizza, so we did a little celebrity taste challenge.  Howard Simon and Jeremy White from WGR 550, and Joe from Celebrate Buffalo, did a blind taste test.  They all chose #1 which was La Nova's based on the better pot roast pizza...but they all agreed on Giangel's for taste.  Both were absolutely delicious!!!

Chick-N-Pizza Works had the crowd buzzing with a Perogie Pizza and Beef on Weck Pizza.  These pizza's will be available at his stores, and believe me they were amazing! Another Note that has to be talked about is the amazing creations from Gr8 Pizza (Formally Bella Roma, on Delaware).  He made a Braciole Pizza and Cannoli pizza.  They couldn't participate on the first day, so votes were lower, but made a HUGE impact on Sunday!

Everyone left happy and that was for sure!  The kids had a blast with Cookie Monster, Dora, and Optimus Prime.  Plus they bounced and played up in the Pizza Play Zone, sponsored by Kidzplay.  The adults enjoyed the music, Terry Buchwald, and got to watch all the tournament action in the Intertech Digital "Man Cave" area.  The bellies were full and the smiles were ear to ear, and everyone can't wait until next year's Buffalo Pizza Bash.
